A site I’m into at the moment and recommend is called fiverr.com  If you haven’t heard about it before you have to check it out. Its a place where you get a whole bunch of people willing to do stuff for you for just $5.  Whether its designing a logo for your site or a profile image makeover to a small article written, you can get it all done for you for just 5 bucks.

What I like most about the site is the creativity in peoples ideas. All the different ideas are really amazing. You can have a video made of a message written in sand and watch it being swept away by a wave or have a message presented by two finger puppets or have a 1 minute song written and sung for you. The list of things offered through fiverr is endless and will keep you occupied and entertained for quite some time.

At about 3am this morning I realised I should have been asleep hours ago but more pressing matters where at hand.

With permission to embed the really cool video of the Geneva car show displaying some of the Worlds most sort after SuperCars, The win.nr – Win a car site is good to go.

It’s not the final theme as I do have other plans for the domain name, but for now offering people the chance to win a car its a great way to get Google to start indexing it.

Just have a few tweaks left to do like adding the social share buttons, I just wanted to let people have a sneak peek.  Not to mention the fact that I am prone to just all out changing things around if I get a blast of inspiration.

I’ve teamed up with a company called The Best of The Best who host all the SuperCar competitions. You may have seen them before at major airports selling tickets to win a car. Not content with just offering a prize to win a car but a super car. With  over £14 million already paid out in prizes. This competition rocks.

While it is important to obtain your name or brand from YouTube media channel it’s also a good idea to also secure your account with Vimeo very possibly the next best thing. With the features offer by Vimeo it could be said that very soon, YouTube may have a battle on its hands for first place as the Internet’s biggest video channel.  It is at least worth considering if only to protect your brand name.

Just finished designing the Rainforests twitter account. I have to say, its looking pretty good.

I’ve just uploaded the Rainforest twitter screen shots here but in order to get a good feel for the new look  you’ll have to go and visit them yourself. it’s time to go local.

While having the .com has always been the way to go there is a lot to say about going local and having your domain name in your local country’s extension, in my case .co.uk

Without doubt having your companies name in a local extension lends itself to the advantage of instant local creditability. When your looking for a dentist or plumber and your choice is a dot com or your countries local extension most would choose their local domain extension as it would almost certantly prove to be local.
